In school, we are taught environmental studies as a science but the curriculum leaves out the amazing stories of the relationships that humans share with the living world. In college, I worked in an interdisciplinary lab with environment lawyers, educators and designers who were able to reflect the complexity of the environment in their work. Having learnt a lot from them, I joined the OCP outreach team as a consultant and have since tried to translate NCF's incredible findings in Lakshadweep into visual narratives. The social scientists and biologists have been my eyes and ears on the field and have shaped my creative process to be more collaborative, curious, and sensitive. Together we have created posters, interactive media and webcomics in the hope to reach more people yearning for stories.
