Programme Manager, Western Ghats – Deciduous Forests
MSc (Wildlife Management), Kuvempu University
I completed my M.Sc. in Wildlife Management from Kuvempu University, and started my research career with vegetation mapping programme in Western Ghats of Karnataka under the Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi. I then worked as Outreach Coordinator and Conservation Officer at Wildlife Conservation Society – India Program for about three years prior to joining NCF.
My fondness for wildlife led me here, where as the programme manager, I’m involved in field research planning, developing outreach material, conducting workshops and facilitating capacity building activities. I also work on generating the spatial information for the data generated from camera trapping, threat analysis and other GIS related work.
