After obtaining a B.Sc in Zoology in 2016 and an M.S. in Ecology and Environmental Sciences from Pondicherry University in 2018, I worked on projects related to bird conservation and mixed flocks. I joined NCF to study the effects of ecological restoration on recovery of tropical rainforest bird communities. I am interested in how alternative restoration strategies for tropical forests influence the structure of mixed species flocks and the and the ecosystem services they provide.
