“You can be anything you want to be but can you be everything you want to be?” This question best describes my state of mind since I am fascinated by every possible offshoot of ecology and conservation, all the while getting maddened by the thought, "to be or not to be(a doctorate)". After doing a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Life Sciences, I monitored birds in the Aravalli landscapes in Delhi NCR(where I grew up). I also worked with various organisations to facilitate outreach and outdoor learning. My ‘gateway drug’ into wildlife was birds but I slowly meandered towards plants and hope to float further towards other realms as well. I am passionately discontent with the current factory-schooling paradigm and the disconnect it creates from nature. With Early Bird, I hope to ignite the connection, consequently helping to shape more mindful communities.
