Project Coordinator, Education and Public Engagement

Masters in Counselling, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai Diploma, Expressive & Creative Arts therapies, Studio for Movement Arts and Therapies, Bengaluru

Since 2014, I have been learning and unlearning social science and language with middle school students at Poorna Learning Centre, Bengaluru. At Poorna, I also coordinated a hands on farming project based on the Gandhian Nai Talim model of education through work called The Ragi Project. I believe in and work towards child centred learning that is inquiry based, experiential and of course, fun. I have worked as a counsellor and therapist with marginalised groups and children, families and the elderly. I am fascinated by the little stories that the everyday has to offer and am deeply interested in issues around education, food, sustainability, identity and mental health.
