Kesang Chunit

Field Technician

I live in the picturesque village of Kibber in the high altitude district of Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. I was born and brought up here and have spent my childhood studying in the village school and helping my parents in livestock herding and agriculture. I now assist researchers in field studies on snow leopards and also work in various conservation programs of NCF. During my work, I have learnt a great deal about how elusive species like snow leopards can be studied and I continue to learn new and amazing things every year. My hobbies include photography, bird-watching and cooking.
