I am from Kalimpong, a town in West Bengal. Currently a student of M.Sc Wildlife Conservation Action, Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune. I have previously worked with Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN), Kathmandu; WWF-India, Hyderabad State Office and ATREE, Darjeeling office. Most of my previous work experiences focused mainly around nature education and some bit of livelihood initiatives in some forest fringe communities. While the current species specific internship was very different to my prior experiences, it was a huge learning experience for me and something I quite enjoyed doing. Apart from this,my other interests include learning about traditional architecture, natural building materials and natural farming. I am self-motivated and try to maintain a positive outlook towards life.
