I grew up in a village called Kibber. Kibber is situated at an altitude of 4200 m above sea level. I did my schooling from the village school where the people were not very aware about wildlife at that time. I had worked with NCF as a volunteer for some time. During that period my interest in working for conservation grew. I received my Master’s in History from University of Himachal Pradesh. Since 2007 I have been working with NCF as the Education Manager in Spiti Valley. Besides this I also help in Snow Leopard Enterprise (SLE) which started in 2013.
